On the 2024 Literary Calendar I use, July is the Anti-Boredom Month! What better way to defeat boredom than losing yourself in a book? Our Romance DeGrootified books are here to do their part in defeating boredom. What could be better weapons than a romantic comedy, Accidental Attraction, or romantic suspense stories, The Consequential Love Series & Playground Antics, or contemporary romances, Restoration & Sparks Fly? Please share these with your family and friends to help defeat boredom in their lives.
Progress with editing Green Eyes & Dimples continues. I like this story. Besides my editing, I must finalize a back cover blurb and a synopsis. As you may recall, these tasks present a challenge to summarize over 70,000 words into a 150-word tantalizing snippet and over 300 pages into a one- or two-page summary of the entire story. ARGH! I have my work cut out for me. Please wish me well.
I'm having fun creating reels for my Facebook page. Have you seen them? I focus on a series of photos set to music. It's fun selecting a song to match the series of photos. I especially like it when a particular verse hits when the perfect photo for the words is displayed. Mike, on occasion, shares them with his golfer friends while on the golf course. I love and appreciate his unending support of my writing.
My author assistant, Missy, celebrated her 5th birthday this month. She enjoyed a bowl of ice cream decorated with small treats.
I'll keep you informed on the status of Green Eyes & Dimples as I progress through the final steps.
